Today, Spike Hike replied to someone’s tweet on Twitter about how they would like to see a Private Chat featured introduced on Club Penguin. The response by Spike Hike was that we will be seeing this arrive sometime throughout 2013, which could be anytime during the next 11 months.
That sounds awesome, but then again, we don’t know exactly what it will be like. Will we only be able to message our buddies? Will we be very restricted on what we can say in our private messages? Will they have a tiny character limit? Members only? Some parents may not want their children interacting with other children privately, and Club Penguin would therefore need an option to just allow penguins to publicly chat, without the use of the private messaging feature. There’s a lot to be found out, but nonetheless, this is a feature that I have wanted for a very long time and am glad to see it coming sometime in the near future.
